As a long-standing Dallas institution, the State Fair of Texas appreciates all the local support that makes such a big event possible every year. The State Fair aims to give back through our partnerships with local organizations and initiatives while expanding outreach programs and placing a special priority on promoting community involvement.

The State Fair of Texas remains committed to creating an inclusive and exciting experience for the entire community, including students. Thus, we have developed a formal request process through our Community Affairs department to accommodate schools that would like students to attend the Fair for educational purposes.

The State Fair of Texas' mission is to celebrate all things Texan by promoting agriculture, education, and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment.

To qualify for this program, the school must:

 2. Have a minimum enrollment of 100 eligible students.  AND

 3. Be applying for this program only for a select group of students (50 or less) to attend the Fair for educational purposes.

Unfortunately, unaccredited schools, daycares, and supplemental educational institutions are not eligible for participation.

  • Tickets allocated through this program must be distributed to the respective students and staff who are mentioned throughout the request form.
  • Tickets received through this program may not be sold, exchanged, or used for fundraising purposes.
  • Tickets are only valid Monday through Thursday, and the group must exit the park by 5:00 p.m. Students must be supervised by the group's chaperones at all times.

Submission Requirements:

  • Applicants must clearly express their intent for visiting the Fair, and the focus of the visit must align with the Fair’s mission.
  • Applicants must upload a letter of support from the school’s principal, with the school’s official letterhead.

Only State Fair admission tickets will be awarded as part of this program. Transportation and parking are not included and must be arranged by the school.
